Building leadership and collaboration for inclusive climate solutions.
We are updating the San Mateo County Climate Ready website and we are working hard to make this site available again soon. Until then, check out our latest Newsletter for important updates and register for our next webinar on Extreme Heat coming up on November 10, 2020.
A Climate Ready County
San Mateo County is a vibrant and thriving place to live, work, and play. We value this area and all that it has to offer, which is why the County of San Mateo is actively preparing for climate risks such as rising temperatures and heatwaves, wildfires, extreme storms, sea level rise and coastal erosion. While the changing climate poses many risks to the people and places in San Mateo County, together we can plan to adapt and protect our people and our valuable resources.

The Climate Ready Team focuses on both reducing our emissions through Climate Action Plans and preparing for the effects of climate change through the Climate Ready Collaborative. The team works with cross-sector and community partners to coordinate knowledge sharing and collaborative action within San Mateo County.
